Fire was chosen as a unifying material for the synthesis of object and sound. In the sound composition, moments were organised where fire interacts with and alters the materials used, using recordings from the object-making: endless sonic recurrences through processes such as moulding, striking, breaking, burning, melting, welding, and cooling.
